Engineering on site for the support fluid application and management
Don’t rely just on products, put knowledge behind it and optimize solutions
Engineering Support
Objectives
- Optimize products consumption
- Stabilize the excavations
- Quality control/assurance
- Optimize production
- On site problem solving
Application
Geo provides a support service on site with engineers with both technical expertise and experience to work side by side on your projects, manage and apply the support fluid. Our engineer will incorporate the staff on site and participate in daily operation to provide know how, expertise and remove the weight of the slurry management off of your site manager. Count on us to guide you from the beginning to the end of project.
This service starts in the planning stage where all details pertaining the project from the batching plant planning, choosing the chemical and physical properties of the support fluid to to provide the adequate mix for each situation along the project to deployment and running the support fluid along with your staff.

Benefits
- Mixing and hydration in less than 30 minutes
- Efficient re-usage of the slurry
- Lower concrete overbreak
- Lower sand content percentages
- Increased skin friction
- Wider problem solving technical capability
- Concrete surfaces with lower contamination
- Clean job sites
- Minimized disposal costs
- Direct discharges to rivers and fields
- No environmental impact

Procedures
On site GEO works with an alert methodology that guides the action taken on site to deliver the proposed solution.
Project data is recorded and compiled in detailed spreadsheets for every foundation element.
The onsite methodology adopted have set targets and alert system focused on: soil stability, concrete integrity, product consumption and production

Batching Plant
- GEO designs a slurry Batching Plant (BP) in 3D with all elements and connection parts
- Assists to deploy the BP
- The BP stock is optimized to maintain target productions.
- The BP manages to accommodate the entire slurry in the production cycle.
- The Slurry is delivered to the element with optimum quality
- The consumption is maintained within agreed targets

Stabilization
- Adequate excavation tools selection in accordance to the geotechnical conditions
- Excavation tools modifications to promote stability and increase production
- Implement the best methods to achieve a fully stabilized borehole throughout the execution of the element
- Modification of production sequence methodologies
- Geotechnical solutions to ensure excavation stability
- Adequate Slurry mix to the site hydrogeological conditions

Products Consumption
- Product application management according to targets
- Product consumption analysis interpretation and solutions
- Implement designed solutions aligned with the product consumption target
- Follow up on the approved procedures

Quality Control
- Slurry quality testing procedure and frequencies
- Slurry apparatus testing and calibration
- Slurry parameters control for the mix, during excavation and prior to concrete pouring
- Concrete integrity analysis through settlement, density gradient analysis, verticality and concrete bleeding
- The compliance of the team on site quality control
- Concrete pouring procedures and reinforcement cage configuration and instalment
- Concrete overbreak analysis per section and overall, according to range and its interpretation

Support Fluid Elimination
- Plan and prepare the fluid disposal at the end of the project
- Treat the fluid parameters to comply with the local legislation
- Dispose the fluid according to local legislation
